Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell

The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell / Committee at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rajkiya Mahila Snatkottar Mahavidyalaya has been established with the primary objective of contributing to rural development, fostering community participation, raising social awareness, and achieving the broader goals of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).

The committee is strictly committed to the holistic development of adopted villages through sustained interaction, ground-level surveys, and impactful extension activities.

Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • Holistic Village Development: Ensuring the comprehensive socio-economic development of the selected/adopted villages.
  • Public Awareness Programs: Organizing regular Jan-Jagrukta campaigns to educate rural populations on health, hygiene, and government schemes.
  • Social Surveys: Conducting detailed ground-level social surveys to identify the core challenges and requirements of the rural communities.
  • Extension Activities: Coordinating and executing various institutional extension activities to bridge the gap between academia and society.
  • Community Participation: Engaging students and faculty directly with local villagers to foster mutual learning and sustainable solutions.
